    Hi,

    Quick question:
(Could be in console section, but it's a plasma question really)

Set up - 50" Viera + modded xbox + hi def = great picture!
I know this screen doesn't do 720p - can't run the games (shame).
But I do have a few 1080i games (Dragons Lair 3D + Atari Anthology) which both look so crisp - monitor like. So am I getting 1080i out of my screen? Does it do it? It looks great - The wireframe and arcade cabinet stuff on the Atari game is great. I wish all games looked like this! Please make Next Gen Console stuff ALL like this as standard.

    thanks.

I would guess that it is converting the 1920x1080i to 1920x540p and then scaling it to 1024x768p.

Or would it de-interlace it to 1920x1080p then scale it down to 1024x768p??

I don't know - I'm kinda lost in the world of i's and p's and upscaling etc?
I just know the screen is 1366 x 768 and the scanning formats are -
    525 (480) / 60i 60p, 625 (575) / 50i 50p.
Yes I did just copy that out of the manual!!
If you could explain - it would be much appreciated. (I know slightly off topic) But it would be nice to know what the future of this screen will hold?

    thanks.
