50" TV Options - Sony XR50X90JU ??

Looking to upgrade to a 50" TV (Can't go bigger due to space limitations) Currently have the Sony KDL42W829B which has a very good PQ.

I have seen the XR50X90JU on offer and wondered if this was a good TV to go for. I know the flag ship TV of this size/price range was the KD49XH9505 over the last 12 months, but the X90J can be had for £150 less. Looking at the specs between the X90J and XH95 they seem pretty similar. Both have Direct Full array LED and Local Dimming which seems to be pretty important. they have a different picture processor so not sure how much that matters. Is the X90J the replacement for the XH95?

TV will be used for watching films, sport and normal Sky HD channels.

At smaller sizes the X90J is as good as the XH95 of last year.
This is because at smaller sizes TV specs are worse than larger sizes normally.
