The PHD pannies should have been available now but apparently the UK shipment was destroyed in a fire.

You should expect to see them any time soon. You could put your order in now.

Rang AV-Sales yesterday and was told there may be some TH-50PHD7 panels at the end of the month, checked the website today and they are also listing a TH-50PHD7BS for the same money which I assume is the silver variant(?).

I got an email reply from AV-Sales, the TH-50PHD7BS is indeed the silver version.

Thanks very much for the info.

The question on my lips is will the hdmi card support 576p :) or will it be 575p :( ?

p.s. I have got that the right way round havn't I? I think the Pioneer 868 outputs 576p?

It's not an HDMI board if it doesn't support HDMI specified timings and resolutions. You could send it all back under the sale of goods act. I won't be selling any till this one is clear.

No worries then, email from AV-Sales stating the TH-50PHD7 won't be available until next year, oh well:(
