I've got 3 pairs of Sony playstation glasses (1 pair brand new) were used with my previous PJ a Sony vpl vw95. Unfortunately they're not compatible with my new PJ otherwise I'd have kept them as they are brilliant and as good as the dearer ones that came with the PJ. I also have 2 pairs of Xpand 104 glasses that come in plastic cases. .again won't work with my new PJ. But again were very good with my old PJ. One of the rubber caps on the end of one arm that covers the mini USB port has come off, it was only held on with a flimsy rubber strip. The cap is still in place but may fall off (a bit of super glue probably sort it). They are a very good fit especially if you already wear glasses.

I'm looking at £30 each for the Sony glasses or if all 3 bought then I'll sell for £85 delivered.

The Expand are £40 each. .deliveried.

Price and currency: £30 each for Sony and £40 ea for Expand 104
Delivery: Delivery cost is included within my country
    Payment method: Pp gift
    Location: Sale
    Advertised elsewhere?: Not advertised elsewhere
Prefer goods collected?: I have no preference

Just quick info for interested people. This glasses work with hw40/55es in the same way as original glasses provided with the pj. The downside is that it is old technology therefore if you have your pj in line of sight (in front or behind you you will be fine) but if you have it build in in a cupboard or a wall like me you r better bet is to invest in rf transmitter.

I got the Sony projector and it has this thing in the box like a small black box with some kind of infra red thing on it attached to a long wire with an Ethernet port type of thing.

Is this the separate transmitter people have been talking about? I won't be buying the glasses yet TBH as I've got more important things to spend money on like the screen haha, completely underestimated how much of a faff a screen is!

Well they worked with the Sony vpl vw95 that I had. .mind you that had a built in 3d receiver. The sony glasses that came with the 95 I believe are the same that come with the 30ES..and both the brands of glasses for sale worked with the 95
