    Hi all,

I need to replace my cheapo no-name branded Richer Sounds fronts/centre/surround with something lovely looking and sounding. But they really need to be compact (wife-friendly), and it's possible the fronts and rears will be wall mounted.

I have looked previously at the M&K K-series and the MA Radius...... have not listened yet though.

What would people recommend I try to hear? Opinions on these?

Budget is to be around £1200max for all 5, so I am probably looking at the bargain end. I want to keep my Velodyne sub.

    Thanks for all/any advice.....

    Irf.

Irf - How about the Castle compact speakers very small and wife friendly or even the new MS Genies both would be within you're budget.

Thanks John, I like the look of the Castles more than the MS Genies. Anyone have a feel for how the Castles would stack up against the two others I've mentioned? I'm not even sure about prices of the others yet though.....

Generally Castle speakers are of good audio quality - try them and see!

Cheers JJ - I hadn't considered those. Have heard that their sound is highly amp-dependent though, so will definitely have to try them with my own one. Will also read some reviews if I can find them......

    All further info gratefully received.
