5.1 Speakers for HK AVR145

Hi,

I have just bought the Harman Kardon AVR145 and was looking to find out what are the most compatible 5.1 speakers packages - should also be good for listening to music as well - any thoughts??

Yes it's realistic
Not the ultimate quality of course, but should be do-able.
You're looking at something like this;

This paticular setup may also be available with the 308 sub, but go for the 309, as it's far superior.
If you're looking to buy seperately, go for 4 902s, 1 905C centre and the 309 sub (all by Mordaunt short), but I think this will exceed your budget.

Shop around very carefully

Thanks for that - I currently have a set of Wharfedale Rubience tied in (2 x floor standers, a centre and 2 x bookshelf rears). I like having the floorstanders but would a new set e.g. Mission M33i be too big for the amp?

The mission M33i should be fine with your amp, having a fairly high sensitivity and a recommended drive power of 25-100W.
What they'd sound like, I couldn't say.
