5.1 pc gaming with coaxial in

    hi please i need help i am trying to get 5.1 pc gaming through my existing amp 3 days and 11 hours and still no joy. here goes i have a creative audigy 2zs card connected to a pioneer av amp with only coaxial in. Card is connected via the s/pdif digital out but can only get 2 channel stereo. using power dvd for movies no problems all 6 channels but using pc games even dvd rom with 5.1 (farcry) only 2 channels ps card is connected using a 3.5mm mono to rca any ideas, solutions would be gratefully received

    If you want spdif, the only solution is to replace your card with real time dolby (or dts (only MSI 945 platinum mb so far) encoder card (ex. HDE x-mystique)
    you'll only get 5.1 from dvds (or other dolby/dts encoded media) with creative cards :)

    another solution: connect using analog outs to your reciever
