My 5.1 set up at the moment has Acoustic energy AE 1's for the front left & right and Mission M71's for the rear. Thing is, the mission M71's are biwirable, so I was wondering if anyone had any knowledge of these speakers, what would be the advisable set up. My centre is a mission too so for reasons of tone it probably makes more sense to swap em round..

P.S. is biwiring as easy as just passing a 2nd set of leads through the same outputs on the amp or is there more to it than that?

Hi there! Just read this thread:

AV Forums > AV Hardware > General Hardware > Bi wiring (and cables), what a load of ******** (long)

Not sure how to make it click-on-able... but it should tell you all you need to know about bi-wiring! :)

If the AE 1's sound better than the mission, I'd give phantom centre a whirl.
