I have a growing number of demo discs like the DTS HD and Dolby TrueHD demo discs full of movie trailers and live music etc etc.
Like DTS Blu-Ray Demo Disc 2007 & Dolby - The Sound Of High Definition Blu-Ray

The Omar Hakim - listen up DTS HD 5.1 sounds absolutely wonderful on my system.

Can anyone recommend something very similar to this?
I think this would be classed as Jazz music not too sure.
I love the effects of the drum how each drum is played through a different speaker etc etc.
I'm looking for more stuff like this but don't know where to look really. :lease:

Discs like that are a rarity but are out there! DTS Entertainment produced some amazing 5.1 CDs, that included some classical, jazz, rock, pop. Some of my faves are:

Queen greatest hits
Toy matinee
Eagles, hell freezes over
Sting Brand New Day
Boys II Men, II

Then you have dvd-audio and sacd of which I have the first. Lots of amazing hi res 5.1 to choose from there!

Linkin Park reanimation
Blue Man Group The Complex
Queen Night at the Opera
Bon Jovi Slippery When Wet
Toy Matinee (again)
Beck, Sea Change
Dr Chesky's Amazing 5.1 is a brilliant use of the technology too.

I'm sure there'll be other recommendations too

As above, there are some out there if you can find them, and depending on your musical taste...

I have;

Pink Floyd - Dark Side of the Moon (SACD 51, DTS CD 5.1, Quadraphonic (LP rip) 4.0 [and 4.1])
Pink Floyd - Wish You were Here (Quadraphonic (LP rip) DD/DTS CD 4.0 + 4.1)
Pink Floyd - Division Bell (DTS CD 5.1)
Pink Floyd - Meddle (DTS CD 5.1)
Porcupine Tree - In Absentia (DTS CD 5.1)
Porcupine Tree - Fear Of A Blank Planet (DTS CD 5.1)
Porcupine Tree - Deadwing (DTS CD 5.1)
Porcupine Tree - The Incident (DTS CD 5.1)
Mike Oldfield - Tubular Bells (original SACD 5.1, 2003 remaster DTS CD 5.1)
Eagles - Hell Freezes Over (DTS CD 5.1)
Jean-Michel Jarre - Aero (DTS CD 5.1)
Jean-Michel Jarre - Oxgene (DTS CD 5.1)
Dream Theater - Systematic Chaos (DTS CD 5.1) [DVD rip]
Katy Perry - MTV Unplugged (DTS CD 5.1) [DVD rip]

I have to admit that hearing Oxygene in DTS 5.1 would be very appealing...bet its a silly price/unavailable though?
