Having played and read quite a bit on these forums about the Pioneer Blu-ray players, LX51, LX71 & LX08 and there anolog output, is anyone able to post there settings for the speaker output levels to get correct bass through the Tag 5.1 bypass?

    Currently I have:
    Speakers set to Large
    Bass set to Bypass
Front, Center & Surround at -2db give or take
    Subwoofer at +6db

Has anyone had better luck, as test tones and meters are proving hard work on this?

if your talking about the settings on the pioneer i had alot of problems with speaker output levels, there was a problem with the firmware, just coulnt get the levels set correctly, quite a few people reported the same problem, i didnt use the settings and had it as default.
dont know wether the latest firmware has sorted it, i use HDMI to an onkyo amp now, far easier.
