    Hi All

I was wondering what connections do i have to do to get 5.1 sound from my VCR?

    My system is as follows:

    Pioneer PDP 505XDE (Plasma)
    PIoneer DV 668 (DVD Player)
    Pioneer VSX D814 (AV Receiver)
    Panasonic NVSV 121EBS (VCR)

Course you can...if your receiver does Dolby Pro Logic II.
Connect your audio out (left and right RCA connections at back of video) to equivalent audio in on your receiver - VIDEO1 would be most sensible!

Then get your receiver to decode in Dolby Pro Logic II, and hey presto, 5.1 surround sound!

Never heard it myself but Pro Logic is decent and many people rave about increased ability and intelligence of PL2.
