Ive been away on holiday for a week and came back to the updated dashboard.

However, I noticed that instead of being 5:1, my amp was showing stereo. It's always been 5:1 in the past, Im not using optical just hdmi into my denon amp.

I went into audio settions can can see HDMI AUDIO is set to Stereo Uncompressed. If I change it to 5:1 Uncompressed I get the error

There was a problem using this setting. Make sure your audio receiver supports it. Also, make sure to chose at least one audio setting. Both cant be off.

Anyone have any ideas?

So you were using 5.1 uncompressed before? what is the make of your receiver?

Its a Denon AVR-1713

It was definitely working before.... the amp is the same amp, no cable changes....only thing that happened is the xbox dashboard update.

I assume you have tried a hard reset? might be worth trying another cable just for piece of mind.
