And how much collected?? (For all 4)

I'm assuming they're all out of warranty?

OK, thanks, a bit too rich for my blood.

I've bought HD204UI's here mid last year for circa £25 posted and I'm unclear what advantage these would give at approx £28 each collected

Might be interested in all 4 but need to check a few things first. Did you have to flash them at any point with a different firmware?

    Hi..
Firmware.. yes I remember that I had to flash these drives (I think, or might have been my 204s), but pretty sure it was these drives looking at the firmware version .. it was related to bring corruption when being used within a raid array? The firmware version is listed the attachments if that helps?
You might obviously be looking for the non flashed version!
I've used the drives (albeit for a short period) with WHS, Adaptec RAID controller and ESXi, various storage management systems (freenas etc) without any issues before opting for a synology.
Edit.. a quick Google and it seems firmware 1AN10003 is the updated version that fixed a bug with various AMD and Intel chipsets.
Looking at the drives, looks.like two are 1AN10002 and two are 1AN10003
Looks like the updated firmware is at:
    Samsung F3 and F3EG Firmware Patch/Update

    Hi.
I would never sell for that price, especially as storage prices will rise due to the weak pound.. I have another array with 4x 2tb so it would be better to keep them for spares... it would cost me £65 for one drive in the event one failed.
Will leave even here for a few days more..

Thanks for the offer though m

    No problem.

Yup, storage prices will rise but these are still 4 out of warranty drives and 2TB drives tend to sell on here for between £20-25 posted (Green or not)

(As an example I picked up 2x2TB Samsung 204UI's and a 1.5TB drive here 18months ago for £65 posted and prices have dropped since then - For Sale - 3.5" HDD Clearout / Apple Bluetooth Keyboard £25.)

Not to worry, at least you've had an offer to gauge others by

    I'll withdraw interest.
