4th Gen. iPod - replace hard drive or scrap it?

After a few weeks of persistently reformatting my 4th generation iPod I have eventually found that the hard drive needs replacing... apx cost £90.

Does anyone have a view as to whether it's worth it or whether I should move on to a new ipod model?

eBay it for spares/repair and get a 5G - the colour screen is so much easier to use, plus it scrolls titles etc.

Sell it for up to 40 quid on ebay, sell it as faulty, dont say that you know the hard drive needs replacing- just say the hard disk seems to be faulty so no returns ;) then take that cash and the 90 you'd have used otherwise and get a 5g ipod for 140 off ebay, next to no difference in cost if you sell the broken original. Plus the colour larger screen and video playback make the 5g a vast improvement. :smashin:
