4K UHD to 1080 SDR player: Dune, Zidoo or Chinoppo?

As in my bedroom I have and old Panasonic plasma, I need a player that correctly converts 4K UHD (DV, HDR10+...) to 1080 SDR, without washing colors or similar annoyances.
I would rip my UHD disks in ISO, so ideally the player should be able to correctly play UHD menus downscaled to 1080 (although image quality should prevail over this function).
I don't need any streaming apps nor fancy browsers, just something that lets me select the UHD ISO I want from my external HDD and play it at 1080 SDR (I would also play BD ISOs, but I think these will be played without issues by any player).
Which player would you recommend me? New Dunes, new Zidoos or Chinoppo?
The quality of downconverting UHD to 1080 SDR would be similar to the BD or would it be much worse?
