Hi, I'm hoping someone out there can help me. My mum has just bought a 4k Sharp TV and I can't find how to turn off motion smoothing and my mum hates it.
On the box it says it's a:
SHARP 40" SMART TV AQUOS I7350 SERIES - LC-40U17352K

I have looked through all the settings and there is not a game mode picture mode or a motion smoothing setting. I have also looked in the service menu, by typing in 1147, but can't find a obvious setting for it.

Please help.

I'd like to think there isn't a TV purchased today that you can't turn off motion processing but its certainly not out of the realms of possibility.

I looked up the model and the most I can find is the motion feature being named "Active Motion".

It should be in the menu somewhere.

Sadly Sharp sold its TV division a while back. They have just been bought by the Chinese company; Foxconn so hopefully they start to make good TVs again so they become more popular again. It would be easier to get an answer if there were more owners.
