4k settings on Samsung

I have a Samsung 4K TV UE55JS800. have had it for about 5 years, the settings I have using movie mode give a fantastic picture for up scaled blue ray and below. When I watch 4k (either from a 4k blu ray or a Vero 4k+), with the same settings, I find I get a sort of shimmering, which is most obvious round hair and similar. I can get rid of it by dropping the sharpness down to about 2/3 of the value I use for all other source.

The reason for the post is that there are just SO MANY possible settings to change, is there one that might be causing the shimmering, as when I drop the sharpness down the result can look a tad soft.

Thanks

Is there an owner thread in the Samsung TVs forum?

Did you search? I found a couple threads about issues with HDR. There could be an owner thread for the series with suggested settings but yiu may need to back a long way
