    Hi Guys,

I have an Xbox One X hooked up to a Sony KD-49X8005C 4K TV.

I've been using it happily for months but recently every now and again when I turned the Xbox on, it would come on the TV and be a small box with white noise in it. I would restart the Xbox and finally get it to come on at 640x480. After some fiddling around, I would finally get my 4K signal back.

However now I've completely lost that, the Xbox just keeps saying my TV does not support 4k. I have factory reset both TV and Xbox and also swapped HDMI cables. I have tried multiple ports and turned on enhanced HDMI functions on the TV input settings. I have tried my PC hooked up to the HDMI port and the PC won't even recognise the TV is plugged in, however, if i plug the PC into my Monitor via HDMI it works fine. Finally, I put the Xbox on the monitor and got 1440p (highest I can get on the monitor) and that worked fine.

    Anyone got any ideas?

Any help really appreciated and thanks in advance.
