Hi all,

As mentioned above I'm looking to replace a Sony 40HX803 with a new 55" 4K HDR tv.

I've currently got my eye on the following:
LG 55Oled b6/e6
Sony 55XD9305
Samsung 55KS9000
Panasonic 58dx902

I mainly watch movies, tv series, occasional football (soccer) and casual gaming. My main sources are streaming via netflix and amazon prime and i will be purchasing a Panasonic dmpub900 uhd bluray player.

In regard to the oleds my decision between the b6 & e6 would be based soley on picture performance, as I have a surround sound system so am not interested in the soundbar that comes with the e6.

My questions are:
Which tv would you recommend between the above listed, based on overall picture quality 4k/hdr/1080p?

Is the e6 worth an additional £1000 in comparison to the b6, in terms of picture quality alone?

Many thanks.

The b6 seems to have a few more issues than the e6 if you read the threads.
Panny is a good value fall set and I would say will perform better than the Sony xd9305.
If your looking at e6 money then you should check the Sony zd9 out a very good set.
I am not too impressed with Samsung this year but that's just me.

Sorry just spotted the 55inch bit so the zd9 out

The LG b6 is almost identical PQ wise as the e6. Definitely go for that.

Panasonic will give you better HDR maybe but not by much.

So OLED by far in my eyes.

Other TVs are edge lit LCD which are really not in the same league as the others.
