I was watching TV just fine yesterday when I paused it and all of a sudden it just started flashing on and off, the red light at the bottom just kept blinking over and over and the TV would pop on for a few seconds and then shut off and repeat- tried unplugging the power cord, still the same thing. I held down the power button and the tv would actually stay on holding the power button underneath the TV- you can watch the directtv if you have it held down but you cant change the volume or do anything else on the tv - just view the guide and change the stations.
