If you can go to 55” then mu7070 is a decent hdr tv within confines of your budget.

Any particular reason you’re confined to Currys?

My best value TVs, 2017 Edition

You can't get TVs that are good with HDR now with that budget unless you can still find a Sony XE9005, XE9305 or Samsung Q7F still knocking about.

This is because we are at a time when the old models have all but sold out, whilst the new models replacing them are still overpriced having only just been released.

Don’t recall upper budget being there yesterday - Q7 available in 49 and 55” within budget, though selling out. Sony XE9005 in 55” is apparently available, but thin on the ground.

No, not a good tv - poor black levels and contrast. Input lag will be low, but overall LG do not make good LCD TVs unless you need wide viewing angles.

    Sony XE9005
    ElectriQ OLED
Samsung Q7F ( just over budget but may come down)
