Can anyone answer this? Its just that I'm loathe to start buying this years blockbusters on normal DVD only to replace in Hidef next year. But if my PJ is not Hi Def then I will buy said films 'cause I can't afford to replace th 4805

It's native resolution is 480p meaning that you can't display High Def stuff without the PJ scaling the 720p or 1080i picture to fit it's 480p resolution.

My PJ is HiDef and I'm still a bit loathed to buy 'em but I will - and then I'll buy them again no doubt on HiDef!

I'm resisting the temptation to purchase things twice on DVD however eg LOTR knowing full well when the HiDef version come out it'll be 3 versions I own... but I've already broken that rule for the Alien set (Legacy / Quadrilogy)... Ho Hum...PJ :)
