I don't know much about TVs which is why I'm asking you guys. I want the clearest most colourful picture possible for my budget.

    Thanks in advance guys :)

    Regards,
    Dan

If you can stretch to £ 799 I recommend the 42" Panasonic ST60. Size isn't everything. I have just downgraded from a rather crap Samsung 50" Plasma to the 42" Panasonic, tbh the 50" was always a bit too large for my room.

Yeah that is a fantastic price on both the 42" ST60 and 50" ST60. Unfortunately I live in Jersey and there are no Richersounds stores here so had limited choices where to buy from. Ended up with an 42" ST60 for £ 706 ex VAT in GST from very.co.uk and I wasn't charged VAT because of where I am.

I sold my slightly defective 50" Samsung Plasma for £ 100 which sweetened the deal somewhat as I paid just over £ 600 of real money for the new TV.
