I have ordered a 46D3000 but now when price of the 40W3000 has been reduced, what would you recommendation be when I will watch mostly SD-TV, DVD through xboxmc and 720p stuff with PC.
D3000 have the 100Hz but W3000 have bravia ex, and 5.1 sound through optical output as advantages....

i would have thought the size might be the biggest decision. the W3000 is the newer model and will support a wider colour palette 100Hz modes can sometimes cause other issues. i'd choose the 40" for my setup but depends on your space and distnace from the screen.

Yes ofcourse size matters....:) but I also think that 40" can be better when watching SD...
I have about 4m distance to the TV.

i agree. i wasn't saying bigger is better the key is to get the right size to distance ratio. I think most probably at that distance most would consider the 46" get a demo of SD at that difference if you haven't already.
