Hi all in a bit of a quandry here got my cash together for my pioneer plasma and was going to buy a 436XDE with speakers and table top stand however i am been told that the SXE is the next generation panel and comes with everything built in dont particuarly like the round corners on it compared to the XDE but hey im picking hairs there, there is some deals tp be had on the SXE many on line retailers can have it in your home for £2000 thats a hell of a saving on a kitted up XDE seems a bit to good to be true whats the catch!!! :lease:

    They have identical panels
    Differences are
XDE has 2HDMI sockets, VGA input, home gallery slot.
    SXE has 1HDMI.
Few other minor things I think but other than that they are the same

The other great thing about the XDE is, if you decide to wall mount your screen then the XDE is the best one to go for. The XDE only has 2 cables going from the media box to the screen, so a lot better to hide. The new model.....if you wanna wall mount this then you will have to hide all the cables from all your av kit, as everything has to plug in the bottom of the screen !!!! If you have the money then go for an XDE...£2154.00 !!!!!!!

If you read the long thread "best price for pioneer 436XDE" have a pen and paper with you, all the codes are listed on there !! Use these code when ordering online. When you order on Dixons online web site after you go through the first page where you punch in your post code, on the second page it come up with the price screen, think this one says 2500 ish.... on that page within the blueish box the is a promo code box, enter each code seperatly. I.E. one at a time, after each code is entered hit return and enter the next code !! And you will start to see the price tumble  some of the codes are.. nhs192 ... mac5...DIX100 and so on, but read the thread as there are some new codes i belive and some of the older ones may not now work, but members on this forum are still ordering them and gettint the great price... best time to order is about 3pm GOOD LUCK :D :D :D :D :D :D
