novice needing help please,

New Pio arrives on Sat, after a fruitfull visit to the Dixons site, with full discount codes found here, Thank You!

I've got Sky+ and an old tatty DVD player. I've been looking at the Denon 500SD as a suitable upgrade, roughly £380 online.

Trouble is how do I connect it all together, is this suitable?

Sky to Denon via Optical Cable for Audio
Sky to Pio via Scart (any scart input?) Audio/Video
Denon to Pio via Video Component or Scart, Audio/Video

Your help appreciated, I'm getting confused now

Ooooh another 436 owner.....Yay..

the connections look ok....
Sky to Denon via Optical Cable for Audio........
You may also want to run an optical feed from the 436medis box
to the Denon for terrestrial/Freeview broadcasts if there is a spare
port.....
The sky needs to go to Line1 on the 436 media box...set it to RGB
if your sky box can support it too...
