    Hi to all,

yesterday i've received my Pio 435XDE, and after all that i read about buzzing problems with this unit, I was very worried about mine.
So the strange thing is: my unit is totally silent when something is on the screen (also in very bright scenes), but it's buzzing when there is nothing, for example when i switch channels or when i switch between different inputs, there's a moment that the screen goes black...in this moment the panel buzz. This buzzing disappear when something appear on the screen!!
    Someone have the same problem?
Is better that i ask for change this unit with another?

Thanks in advance and sorry for my bad english

Give it a few days to settle in. Run it for as long as possible on reduced brightness settings, because panels often need to be "run in". By all means report the fault to the supplier, and he may well offer the same advice. If the noise continues or gets worse, ask for a replacement. A small amount of buzzing is normal, but it normally increases with picture brightness.

I have noticed this on a couple of 435XDE units – only audible when very close to the TV though.

I'll ask Pioneer UK for an explanation as to why going to ‘Black' produces more noise – seems at odds with everything that's come before this model.

    Best regards

    Joe

Yup...mines is the same. It buzzes more with black. Not really a big deal though - it isn't that loud.

So as not to panic prospective Pio 435XDE purchasers, I have not had any problems with buzzing on mine. Then perhaps I'm just lucky :D

I am not aware of any noticable buzzing on my unit during normal use, and I'm not too keen on investigating further as it would probably upset me along with the plummeting prices of these units :thumbsdow.

Thank god I negotiated a decent price [or so I thought] when I bought mine, I pity anyone who paid full retail for these when they came out.

I took delivery of my 435 XDE 3 days ago and I have not heard any buzzing as yet. I will listen very closely next time it is on. As a previous reply states I would give it time to 'settle in' and if it was still annoying you I would speak to the retailer.
