    Hi,

I am going to buy one of the aforementioned Pioneer plasmas but as I have tried to ween out in a couple of previous posts, I am worried. The 435/505 has 100Hz and the 436/506 has 50Hz. Now the 436 and 506 are better with better specs and the additional HDMI port on the XDE but have an inferior refresh rate? Does this make a significant difference to the quality of the picture as I have been used to a 100Hz tv and it's been beautiful.

I have also been trying to say that I am a big fan of video games and they often operate at 60Hz or more where possible on televisions. The difference in the quality of the gaming is significant so why do I feel like I have to buy an inferior plasma tv to get the most out of the video gaming. Also, is this likely to make a difference with the next-gen consoles when they broadcast in high-def?

    Cheers
    Justin
