The local Powerhouse showroom has these two Toshiba RPTVs: 42WH46 - £849.99 and 42PW33Q - £799.99.

I know the 33Q is 50Hz with component input/Scart inputs and the WH46 is 100Hz with Scart only connections and that I could get the WH46 for approx £790 online.

I am not looking for, into the latest technology, I am still using analog reception, for satallite TV (Amstrad) and BBC, ITV etc. I have just bought a DVD player, am unlikely to be getting SKY and will eventually, when forced, get a "freeview" box

Anyone car to comment on whether the WH46 is worth the £50 extra.

    TIA,

    Kenneth.

Get the WH36 - it is the better model all round. Progressive, 5 inputs, 2 RGB scarts, component and a cracking picture. And you can still buy it )

The WH46 is inferior in every espect.
