    Hi all.
I know there is much debate about the PWD6 and HD compatibility.
I am now in a position where I am almost ready to buy and it's a choice between the PWD6 and the 42VR5.

Can anyone tell me if the VR45 is a better choice simply due to the HD compatibility?
It says on the blurb in this link that it is HD compatible.

Can I assume that in the future when we get HD signals from the TV companies that the VR45 would be better suited to deal with those than the PWD6?

Can anyone shed light on this?
    Thanks.
    Ciaran.

Yes, VR5 is fully HD compatible and accepts 720p and 1080i @50 and 60 Hz via digital and component inputs.

And hopefully the PW7 will get a revised HDMI card. :(

    Well we can hope.
