Having satisfied myself that the 42 PD7200 will meet my sky footy needs (see this months what plasma and lcd tv for more) my thoughts now turn to gaming.

I have an XBOX360 on pre-order, and it clearly will hook up to hidef...

Has anyone any experience of sd/hd gaming on this screen?

How does it handle? Any plusses or indeed minuses?

    Would love to know.

    Thanks.

There's quite a few images on different threads of 480p/720p Xbox games and they look excellent.I think the 360 will look awesome on the 7200

    davidsti,

I'm sure there is an improvement in 480p and 720p over 480i on the 7200 but your images are a bit unconvincing,I can't really see any difference.

I know it's hard to photograph that's all I'm trying to say.I've got a PV500 and run a Hi-def xbox and it looks far superior to 480i but it's very hard to capture it with a digi camera. The best way to illustrate it would be to photograph XBMC in 480i and then the same image in 1080i.Now that's some difference !!

I was really lookin at Forza when I passed my comment, you can deffo see the 480p effect on your Evox menu

There is a big difference though when you see it in the flesh(as you will know)
