    hi guys,

about to buy our first plasma and need some help in the decision making process. in australia here and am currently waiting for release of new range of HD fujitsu models before making final decision.

my main question is what size to go for. i intend to wall mount it in a room which is 4.6mt deep with sofa on opposite wall. the width of the room is 5.3mt across. what do you think?

as im unfamiliar with the new model of the fujitsu but overall, what do you guys think of fuji plasmas?

    cheers,

    julie

I'm watching a 50" Panny from about 4m and don't find it too big, so i'd say go for the 50".

Is the 42" model true HD compatible? ie at least 1280x720? The resolution was another reason I went for the 50" panny over the 42".

If you have 4m+ viewing distance and the money, go for the 50"

Otherwise a 42" will be just fine.....

buy the biggest you can afford
Plasmas shrink after a week or so.

I'm about 3.5 metres from my 42" and it doesn't over power the room. In fact, i was actually disappointed, i expected it to be much bigger. :( TBH, no-one has even mentioned how big it is, just how nice it lOOks.

With the distance you're talking about, get the 50" (or bigger). Get the biggest you can afford, i think that's the moto. If it's too big, i'll swap you for me 42" :D
