Anyone know why no sound comes out of the Rear right Speaker but comes out of the Rear Left and FL.FR and Centre ??

I use Fake 5.1 for TV but it only seems to work on the 4 speakers ?

have you tried chaning one of the speakers on one of the working channels to the rear right? if it still didnt work, you would know that it is either cable or amp, if it did work, you would know that the speaker was the thing at fault

that extra rear speaker only works when the signal is there using a fake 5.1 will not do it. if you have DVDs with say ES or EX sound you will hear it, as long as its there when you do the test it will work when the signal is there.

Well with TV in Fake 5.1 the Rear Left works as per the other front ones but the Rear right is mute.

Tried Pirates of the Carrabean today but couldn't hear owt from either of the rears.
Seems to only work with DTS soundtracks

thats probably the next step having showed the speaker not to be at fault..... it does worry me that pirates of the caribbean didnt work. You say it worked with dts..... does that mean it worked properly on all the rear channels? Does it normally work with dolby digital?

Another thing to consider is that this is because your dvd player is set wrong, try setting it to bitstream/pcm (whatever the one it isnt on) and see what happens. This sounds a bit too random to be that, but who knows

    Could be the DVD
It was turned off for a few weeks whilst the living room got decorated.
Will have a flick through the options when i get home
Couldn't get Pirates of the Carribean to play in DTS though - Couldn't get it off that Audio Test thing.
