42" plasma

    hi, looking a buying a 42" plasma for home bar (mainly sport and films) . i was tempted by the hyundai 4250 for£999 but swayed by mixed reviews on here
    i have between a £999 & £1300 to spend any advice welcome .thanks si

    The most popular models on the forum are the LG-RZ42PX11 and the Panasonic PW7/PW6, both would be great buys the LG offers plug in and go viewing the Panny is more hassle its a monitor design so you will need a surround system/amp etc, some prefer one some prefer the other, demo both and make up your own mind. :)

    No one in their right mind would buy a LG, unless visually challanged IMHO
    Panasonic, Pioneer, NEC are the ones to get
    Hitachi, Sony, Philips, if you can stand to watch ALIS screens (I can't)
