now ive got a 6 month old viera which isnt hd compatable. i was following all the threads about boxes etc that maybe would be released to make it display so but then lost track of it.

not being that bothered about this as ill worry in 4 years when things will be starting to kick off with hd and plasmas wipe the floor with these days hd models.

my question is will it ever be able to display hd (in some format) cheaply ?????

possibly................what it wont accept is a 720p (on component) signal or any HDCP encrytped signal (remove HDCP and possibly) best bet is non HDCP via VGA under fornt flap (hardley ideal)
