    Guys & Gals,

Just thought I would let you know that in just over a year, we have posted 400 reviews to the forums and Total DVD Online. It seems like a life time has passed since we set out to do this, and i want to thank my team of reviewers who do some brilliant work for no return.

We would like to think that everyone enjoys our weekly round ups of the best discs out there, and as the discs continue to pile up we are still looking for more people to join the team. If you are interested then please email me totaldvd.net@btopenworld.com and also read the thread Here so you know what we are looking for.

So I just want to thank
    Mark Haywood (Sigismund)
    Andrew Smith (Docsmith2k1)
    Edward Marshall (Edz)
    Matt Brown (Smurfin)

For their continued hard work. Also a big thank you to Stuart Wright (Spectre) for his support and the initial idea.

Also a big thank you to our suppliers
    Sandi @ Disc Emporium
    CD Japan
    DTS UK
    Movietyme
and the various UK Film Studios and other suppliers.

And a BIG thank you to all the forum members who support the Reviews area and Total DVD. We have some new features coming soon including each reviewers system details, so you know what the discs are reviewed on. More specialist reviews covering Horror, Cult, Sci-Fi and Asian titles, and hopefully a few more reviewers to help out.

Oh and as always let us know if theres any titles we may have missed or should review in the future for you.

    Thanks

...although... I can't understand why you didn't listen to the DTS soundtrack for the Black Hawk Down Superbit review, Phil. Surely that's what everyone would be interested in?!

Simon in case you hadn't noticed, just because Phil posts the reviews doesn't mean he's written it

My apologies. [IMG] It was Edward Marshall who wrote the review. Nevertheless, it was surprising that the DTS soundtrack wasn't reviewed.

Have to agree with the comments about the Black Hawk Down Superbit review. Not listening to the DTS soundtrack in comparison to the DD5.1 seems to be missing the point in regards to the Superbit series. Same applies to the picture, in order to reccommend this title surely you must compare it to the previously released version(s) given that these have been available for a long time and a lot of people will already own one??!!

    Guys,
We really try our hardest to please everyone, but sometimes that cannot happen. I would have reviewed the disc (as i have all the other versions available to compare) but my PJ is out of action and I am waiting for the new one to be installed. I gave the disc to edward to review, but forgot that he is still not set up for DTS playback.

If one of the other reviewers want to volunteer an amendment to the review and have the disc or get it sent to them, we can update that one review which you mention.

Sorry about this oversight, i think we hit the nail everytime on the head, this is an oversight, apologises it will get fixed.

[I still think Edward wrote a good review, but we will cover the DTS issue]
