    Sony DVP-CX985 400 Disc DVD/SACD Player

Having trawled the net im finding it difficult to find a supplier who will ship to Europe. Any ideas of a company who can source one(pref with appropriate voltage converter supplied)

Sony haven't officially released a megachanger over here for years. We missed the 975 and the 777es completely - although some individuals evidently did import one or two. Have never found a satisfactory answer as to why we're not deemed worthy.

Also, PAL support might be lacking completely in any of the Region 1 machines so don't expect to do a remote hack and put a Region 2 disc in and be happy.

    Mike.

I live in Australia and use www.oade.com for most of my gear from the US. They use DHL for shipping and there service is great

I see the new DVP-CX995V is now on sale in the USA ..with the new digital connection and high spec.. this is the DVD changer I need. The manual is available for download from the Sony site and am printing it off as i speak. Will wait a while to see if its released .. if not might go for an import.

For anyone interseted in importing US gear, Parcel2go will set up a PO Box for you in the US and handle the shipping, this means you can buy from the cheapest. Not sure of their charges though.

My Pioneer DV-F07 is starting to play up after many years of good service.

The question is, can these babies be chipped easily?

I don't suppose anyone has found a source of these modded at least for multiregion if nothing else?

Something like this would solve a lot of problems for me :)

There is a sponsor on this site who advertises multiregion and international shipping, if I come across it again I shall post it, think they are on the hack forums.
