Having some issues narrowing down options and hope someone can help. At the moment I will only be using it for two or three months a year so not looking for anything two expensive.

All I need is something I can plug my PC into to play games at 1080 and 60fps, watch the usual streaming services (Amazon, Netflix etc) and occasionally some downloaded video files.

I don't need any TV tuner, smart features, 3D, 4k or HDR. Also will not be used as a monitor, displaying content only.

Size should be around 40 inch and price around £500. Both slightly flexible if need to be.

Thanks for any advice, it seems like everywhere I look has so many different options.

Samsung J6240 or J6300 more than good enough. Saw the J6240 recently reduced to a very good price at Argos. Don't think you'll get much better even at close to 500 now.
