40"/42" TV for PC use

Hi,
I am looking for a 40"/42" LCD/LED TV to use connected to my PC. So it will be my monitor.

I will only use word, powerpoint excel, internet .. office related stuff.

So I need a panel with "standard" resolution that can be mapped 1:1 by PCs video card without scale and stretch problems. It should also be very easy to read text, no alias and with a good contrast.

0% film and/or games use.

Max 500$.

Thanks for help :)

Are you in the US? This is a UK/Europe forum mostly. Try AVS | Home Theater Discussions And Reviews to get advice on models that only exist in the US (indeed brands like Vizio)

Given your budget, one of the 5 series Samsungs should suffice I would think
