Off to the states in January and was thinking of purchasing the following.........

Geek Gifts 2011: VIZIO Universal Wireless HD Video and Audio Kit | TechRepublic

Its approx $180 with the benefit that I can return to Costco in the UK should it not perform correctly.

Apart from differing voltages does aybody have any thoughts.

The equivelant over here seems to be £300 plus.

If you’re lucky it might work - otherwise be prepared for a lot of grief.

Some folk get on great with WirelessHD devices - many don’t!

PS Ensure it works with 50Hz signals (576p, 1080i or 1080p) if you’re planning to use it with a UK Set top or DVD player.
