    hi everyone

just bought a sony dvd recorder and looking at the carnage of wires behind the tv set thought i better ask if the way i set it up is correct

sky>dvd recorder> tv :using component video leads to rgb scart 1 in tv
dvd player >tv scart 2 :using s-video to scart lead
    video>tv :using tv scart 3

is there a better way so that i can record with the dvd recorder from my other devices?

sony kv32fq75U widescreen tv it has 3 scart sockets (2-3 have letter S next to them) also there are 2 audio sockets
sony S300 dvd player with 6 speakers (no scart socket)although has s-video and audio sockets
sony SE800G video with 2 scart sockets but no s-video socket (also has 2 audio sockets)
sony GX3 recorder with 2 scart, s-video and Y/Cb/Cr component video out sockets (x3)
amstrad DRX300 satallite receiver with 2 sockets (soon sky plus hopefully)

    all recommendations gratefully received! :lease:
