    Would 4 ohm & 8 ohm speakers sharing a Rotel 1075 present any problems? Of course the salesman said not! He sounded ever so convincing.:suicide:

    No it shouldnt. The rotel has plennty of grunt and could run a set of 4 ohm speakers so mixing wont be a problem.

    Do you mean running a 4ohm on one channel and an 8ohm on another channel ... or running 2 speakers off 1 channel of the amp?

    I will be running 3 x 8 ohm speakers & 2 x 4 ohm speakers. All via the Rotel 1075..............:smashin:

    That will be fine OTF ... just was making sure you ween't wanting to run 2 pairs of speakers off 1 pair of amps (if you get my drift) ... which would be a (relatively) bad thing (TM)
