Hi,

I'm placing an order for a 4 Ohm, 275W subwoofer. Will my Cambridge Audio Azur 540R V2.0 handle this? The manual doesn't state anything about this so are CA just covering themselves or will I have problems. All my other speakers are 8 Ohms.

Thanks.

Is this a powered(active) subwoofer? If so there would be no problem as the impedance of the speaker does not come into play when it is connected to the sub pre-out of the receiver.

If however it is a passive sub, I have no idea how you will connect it to the CA.
