    Hi,
I was just wondering if anyone had had any experience with 4" components. I have an old car which only has room for a 4" speaker. I could stick in a 2 or 3 way co-ax, but was considering getting a 4" component set-up like this:
    http://thebassbin.co.uk/shop/product/products_id/1460.html
    (JVC CS-HS40)
I'd then find a way to mount the tweeters...

Basically I've got a Headunit that's got the standard front and back outputs (4x50W) and currently am running the standard (frankly, rubbish) speakers in there. It's definitely time for an upgrade. I want to use front and rear speakers, so would like a front set up which - if tweeters are used - has a passive crossover.

Trouble is, at this tiny size of speaker (4"), there's not a huge amount of choice of components. Most are above £100 which I don't want to spend on a just the front speakers right now, as I'm saving for an active sub (the car currently only has 2x 4" speakers and 2x 3.5" speakers!).
Biggest problem with these JVC speakers is I can't find any reviews or comments on them anywhere... So I'm currently thinking it'd be safer to get a pair of 2 or 3-way co-ax speakers instead (for example: http://caraudiosecurity.com/shop/product/products_id/5473.html)...

    Any info/advice/ideas greatly appreciated!

    Cheers,

    Max
