This is a question about my XS32.

I have 6 programmes (from a series) that I want to record to a single DVD-R for archving. They are currently on my XS32 HDD.

Problem is, 1 single programme out of the 6 was transmitted in 16:9 while the rest were done in 4:3 - odd, but true.

How can I burn these? When I try it throws a wobbly because of the differing aspect ratios?

Thanks

In the DVD creation menu there is an option to force it to turn them all into the same a/r. I always select the 16:9 as if the ads have not been perfectly edited or the coverage is from C4 or news feeds you often get mixed modes even without realising it.

I would try creating a disk forcing 4:3 if that is what you want and see if the prog that was in 16:9 looks funny or not. If you don't want to waste a disk use an -rw as a test.
