3gs screen problem

Hi i have just noticed 3 purple spots on my iphone screen in the top left corner about 3 to 4mm. Is this a known problem it is still in warranty. I only noticed this today when i was going to make a call in the direct sunlight. The phone has always had a power support screen protector on it and is allways kept in a case.

I think you'll find that they are sensors to turn the display off when the phone is by your face when making a call.

hmmm thats what i thought can anyone else confirm this by looking at the black part of the front screen (top left), you may need to put it near some light. Anyway i rang apple support and he asked me s load of questions and booked me in at the norwich apple store tomorrow as im on holiday as i have no apple store near me i would like to get it fixed now but i dont want to waste my time if its nothing, thanks

Thanks, so i guess apple support are useless then and just read from a script. I guess its not worth keeping my booking at the app store as i have a case number and try to get a new iphone anyway or will they have more knowledge

I doubt you'll be getting a new iPhone based purely on it's design and not a fault.
Go to the park instead.

LOL no what I ment was would the staff at the apple shop have not much experience like the phone guy and get a new phone out of them as they think the spots are a fault aswell
