ive just fitted a optoma 3dxl box to my 67n pj and i think it has affected the picture quality of normal tv.
is this possible or is it in my head?

Set your sky box to 720p or update the firmware to fix the issue with the 1080i signal from sky

does anyone know why the optoma 3dxl owners thread has been closed?
im tyring to sort out my poor picture when running 2d through it.
the problem is lines running through the picture, more so on fast moving shots.
    thanks.

    Sorry not sure I understand.

If you want to post in the 3DXL part 2 thread you'd use the post reply button.

If you wanted to start a new thread then use the main projectors list...Projectors | AVForums.com - UK Online

I could be the numpty here :D

Here is a post with the firmware update link....http://www.avforums.com/forums/projectors/1412494-optoma-3dxl-owners-thread-29.html#post15285014
