Just read an email advertising this box.
    I don't have a 3D TV just a 42 inch LCD Toshiba and a cheap Acer PJ.

It is claimed this works with all non 3D Displays and is the solution rather than buying an expensive new 3D Tv / PJ.

Anyone got any views on this?

Also have a look at the 3dfury. Similar but cheaper I believe.

A new 3D needn't cost all that much, but the Fury does look a reasonable proposition if you don't need a new TV anyway:

Just seeing it as an option at the moment but my older Tosh 42inch LCD is still going strong and does not 'need' replacement yet.
Eventually I suppose all TV's will have 3D as option.

Presume it literally does give my current non 3D TV that very capability to play say 3D programs on Sky?
Is that so for non 3D PJ's?

Yes, 3D on TVs is almost a standard feature now.
These devices presumably do whatever 3D TVs do, to convert the two side by side pictures into one 3D image, so it's likely that they will do it for PJs as well.
