Hi All,
A question for all you budding 3D modellers.
I'm really getting into my 3D modelling with 3DS Max and now I'm ready to build a dedicated machine for this. However, my main concern is what Graphics card to get.
Dedicated 3D graphics cards are uber expensive (Quadro's) and was wondering what gains they give over a Top end Gaming GFX Card. I currently have an ATI HD5850 in my HTPC/Gaming Rig in the front room.
In terms of £ for £ what gains will I get from using a quadro over Gaming Graphics?
What are the fundimental differences between the two?
Can I use gaming GFX cards effectively with 3DS Max?
I'm looking at the Quadro 2000 or GTX570. Any recommendations and experiences are very welcome.
Cheers in advance
