And if so, what is your opinion of it.

There are a few brand new ones going on ebay for about 28 quid delivered, brand new with a year's warranty. I'm sorely tempted as I have had the use of a linksys wireless gaming adapter for a few days and it is fantastic for streaming stuff from my pc upstairs to my tv downstairs. But I have to give it back (I was testing it for a customer and it will not work anymore with his router as it keeps dropping the signal) and I am going to miss it.

    Any other recommendations gratefully accepted.

Yeah, I know about the B/G speed thing, and my Linksys router is a 54g, but the linksys bridge is 11b and it works no problem at all. I just don't know what to do. :(

I only really use wireless for my laptop but even if i go right down the bottom of my garden I still get an excellent signal, I can't tell the difference when using my wired connection. As said I would get a "g" network it'll give you faster speeds.

I think that's what I'm gonna do. I tried streaming a dvd from ripped files on my pc last night using the Linksys box, which is 11b, and it was stuttering and freezing all over the place.
